Dear SRM 7.0 experts,
We are implementing SRM 7.0 and our back end system is ECC 6.0 with EHP4. I have 2 questions:
1) To replicate purchase requisitions from ECC 6.0 to SRM 7.0 using the BADI ME_REQ_SOURCING_CUST, do we need SAP PI as a mandatory requirement?
2) To implement the Central Contract Management scenario, do qwe need PI as a mandatory requirement?
Thank you
Pedzi

Dear Muthu,
If we plan to use the BADI ME_REQ_SOURCING_CUST to replciate purchase requisitions from ECC to SRM automatically (not using CPPR functionality), do we still need SAP PI as a mandatory requirement? The note 1263876 seems to be referring to when you want to use CPPR.
Thanks and regards
Pedzi
Traditionally in the past PI has not been a mandatory component for integrating ERP and SRM (CRM, SCM, PLM) with a few exceptions like SRM - Enterprise Buyer. However, it appears the tide has turned. Can anyone clarify and provide a place where I can confirm where PI is required for integration among these applications and where it is optional, if still applicable?
