Chane Output device since PO printed wrongly

Dear Experts,

While we print a PO after saving the PO in ME21N, PO printed on a printer which is in a different locations.

I need to change the printer and add the correct rpinter so that PO can be printed in the same location

Can any one please tell me how can I change the printer for the message types?

Hi,

Use Transcation code OMGF - Change output devie, which is assigned to the purchase groups.

There aganist each purchase group, Default printer name is assigned.

Then if you create any PO with the purchase group, system will pick correct default printer, which is assigned against purchase group

in the transcation OMGF.

But what if the printer against Purc. org is blank?

Then which printer will be selected?

Hi,

If default printer name aganist purchase group is blank, then system will pick default printer from the user profile.

Maintain correct default printer in the user profile using SU3 tarnscation in the Default screen.

Hi

There is no output device maintained both in customization for the purchasing group as well as in SU3.

Still PO printed in some printer.

Kindly let me know, how this printer was selected.

Hi ,

Check condition records, if you maintained any.

Transcation : NACE

select application : EF

click on Condition records button, which is on header

select your output type ; NEU

And check any condition records exist or not.

I have asked user to assign the printer in SU3

In SU3, Defaults tab, you can maintain default Printer at User level.
