SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS - Repository Version

Hello Friends,

I am doing SPROXY configuration between ECC & PI. When I run the report "SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS", the message "Cannot determine repository version" is coming.

What is repository version ? Where this is maintained ?

Can you kindly clarify ?

Kind regards

Jegathees P.

Hi Friends,

Finally this problem is solved. We are able to connect Proxy (ECC) to PI.

There is no mistakes in the configuration in ECC & PI. The problem was happened due to Firewall issue.

After we added our ECC ip address in Proxy Server. we are able to connect.

Thank you very much, friends.

Kind regards,

Jegathees P.

Hi Saurab, Kiran & Rudrio

Our PI server is running fine.

I created SAP_PROXY_ESR as you said. It didn't work to connect ECC to PI.

In RZ70, we use the same host name which is maintained in the SLDAPICUST.

Still the same error is coming while run the report.

Can you kindly clarify ?

Kind regards,

Hi,

This means that the system configuration for XI is not correct since

transaction sxmb_ifr access link http://<host>:<port>/rep/start/index

which is either down or cannot be determined.

So please check again your XI configuration for system.

Yes, Tarang. Both LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI of TCP/IP connections pointing to PI server. Connection Test is fine.

Is it requried to create any entries in SPROXSET table ? If it is, what kind of entries we need to create to resolve this problem.

Yes, Tarang. I have maintained our SLD server host name in SLDAPICUST txn. And the user J2EE_ADMIN with its password is maintained. When I do SLDCHECK it is fine. SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration -> Check also fine.

Any idea further ?

Kind regards,

Hi

What do you have in sldapicust and RZ70 transcation.

are they pointing to same sld ?

In sldapicust instead of j2ee_admin use slddsuser

Use the following:

Create RFC dest : SAP_PROXY_ESR (use same name)

Connection type : G

Description : -

Target host : Your PI IP address

Path prefix : /rep

Service number : 50__00 (__ = instance of PI)

Logon procedure : Basic authentication

SSL : Inactive

user : of PI user

PW : of PI user

This will solve your problem.

I am sure it will work.
