Hi,

After my MRP run system create the purchase requisition on 15.09.2010(ie., PR Request date),Release date on 24.09.2010 & delivery date 06.10.2010. Also I got exception message 30 ie., reschedule on 27.09.2010.

I am quite clear about delivery date & Resuhedule date.

My question is How system calculate the release date? (ie., I am expecting same day as PR request date)

I have maintained the Planned delivery time 1 day,GR process time 1 & Purch. Process. Time 7 days.Opening period 7 days & release period 2 days (schedule margin key)

Regards,

Dear

PR release date (for PRs generate via MRP) is backword calculated from the date of required availability by : PurchaseDept. Processing time + Planned delivery time + Gr Processing Time .

It is the date on which the PR is supposed to be ideally released in order to make the material available on the required date.

For example :

Date required: 01.10.2007

GR processing time: 2 days (working days)

Planned delivery time: 10 days (calendar days)

Purchasing dept processing time: 2 days (working days)

For the material to be available on the date it is needed, the purchase requisition must be released on 13.09.2007 (requirement date less GR processing time, planned delivery time, and purchasing department processing time).

Regards
