Commitments at activity level in report S_ALR_87013533 - Plan/Actual/Commit

Hi All,

When i executed the report S_ALR_87013533 - Plan/Actual/Commitment/Rem.Plan/Assigned, the commitments are shown at WBS level but not at activity level. Is there any setting required to see the commitments at the activity level?

Where as the planned costs are shown against the activity in the same report.

Please suggest the required settings if any?

Regards,

Ramana.

Hello,

If PO/PR are account assigned to network, as suggested by Ahmed, but you cannot see the line items in CJI5, consider note 152571.

Additionally, if you can see the commitments at activity level in CJi5 but not in the hierarchy report, you can run CJEN to reconstruct the project info database.

Hope this helps

If the PR/Po are account assigned to activity then the commitments will be at actiivty level, If it is for WBSE then you wont see commitment at WBSE level. Run CJI5 and see the line items, if there are any commitments created at activity level or not.

HI Rifaee/Martina,

In CJI5 the line items are shown under the WBS. But i would like to see the line items in the report.

Even after running the report cjen the database is not updated for line itemwise commitment in the report.

How to assign the PR/PO as account assignments to activity? Where do i need to do this setting? Please inform.

Regards,

Ramana

You have to create PR/PO for network activity. It should be account assigned to network activity not WBSE. Take help of your MM consultant.

Ramana,

As per your reply, your PR/PO are account assigned to the WBS and not to the network. In this case, you will never see the commitment in the network activity.

You need to create the PR/PO with account assignment category N or create the PR directly from PS as suggested by Ahmed.

In your PR/ PO you need to use Account assignmetn category F/ N in -order instead of P & Q. Please set up your PR/ PO correctly with help of MM.
