Retro calculation when action executed



Suppose, I gave an employee change in pay on 1.1.2010, consequently I also executed change in pay in 01.04.2010 and 01.06.2010, now I have a received an intimation to again give the same employee another "change in pay" in 1.1.2010.

The system overwrites the first change in pay with the one I am running now, how can I still maintain the previous one and add another one without the first one deleting?

Any tips?
