Hi Kiran,
Are you stopping or restarting the MDM Server ??? kindly specify
As per given details it seems you trying to unable stop MDM server and as per error details in your MDM server . i think you have Master and slave repository on MDM server and some of the user has choose synchronize slave repository option and still synchronization under process. so you need to wait still synchronization operation complete
Hope this will resolve your problem if not revert back

Hi Jignesh Patel,
I am trying to stop the server first. after that again I will try to start the server.
And even we dont have Master and Slave repositorys. Only one repository.
No one clicked on synchronize slave repository Option Also. Just normal procedure only. Just I tried to down the Server. I started to stop the server at that time I am getting this error.
Thanks
Kiran.
Hi Kiran,
Kindly note following point
1. MDIS and MDSS server should stop before starting and stopping MDS server
2. Make sure all JAVA, ABAP Application relevant to MDM server or MDM repository should be stop before starting and stopping MDM sever
3. check database path setting proper or not
Thanks,

Loaded 1407 strings from '/usr/mdm/LangStrings/CatMgrCommonCore.lang'
Error: 0xffabe109, Unable to lock synchronization operations for the master server
Even I am not able to do any operations in Console.
In Console I am getitng this error.
Repository Connect Failed
Error - Access to Synchronization data is Locked for the master Repository.
I am not able to do any operations in Console. I am not able to Create a Repository also. When I tried to craete a repository I am getting this error.
Error - Unable to Lock Syncronization operations for the master server.
Hi Kiran,
Please Check SAP Note 1066199 - for symptoms like Certain repository operations (deleting, creating, etc.) fail with the following message: "Unable to lock out synchronization operations for the master server." although no master repositories are mounted on the server.
If this Note does not work, I would suggest you to Stop and start your DBMS and then try re-installing MDM Server.

Mandeep Saini
Hi Kiran,
Have you restarted database, MDS,MDIS,MDSS server in sequence as mention earlier if not try out and even still problem remain same. I agree with mandeep suggestion to reinstall MDS,MDIS and MDSS server
Note : Before reinstallation of MDS,MDIS,MDSS server take back of repository
Thanks,
Jignesh Patel
