ME1M Price Simulation

Hi All,

I want to understand how price the Price Simulation works in T-Code ME1M.

i am asking this because we arn an cost estimate with Valuation Strategy as Purchase Info Record.

The price maintain at Pur Info Record is different from Cost Estimate. When we ran ME1M and do the price simulation on the date when we ran the Cost Estimate it is showing the same price which is taken at cost estimate.

So i am not able to understand how price simulation is working. Please help me to understand.

Hi

Have you maintained the IR price with different validity periods??

If yes then ME1M would take the price valid on the date you provide in simulation & not the current price in the info record.

Check if you have multiple validity dates in IR & let us know.

If you want to get the price for IR then you can run ME_PRICING _INFORECORD, but this FM would give you the price valid as on today.

To get the price as on valid date given in simulation, ME1M actuaaly calls 3 different function modules to arrive at the price.

You maintain the price in info record under conditions.

The 3 function modules are

ME_FILL_KOMK_IN

ME_FILL_KOMP_IN
