Hi Colleagues,

I have a customer requirement in ESS. we have currently implemented

who's who

leave requests

Employee Search

and Quota Overview

Now client would like to have more link in this ESS page

where employee can upload their photos,

upload their certificates/any attachments and if we can put restriction like how many attachments and what attachments like resume and certificates only.

I am new to ESS so doesnt know much, please help me out here

Hi Bala,

No we dont have the option of uploadign the photos yet. And yes we need to integrate this on portal where employee can ess.

let me again clarify the requirement.

1. Employee logs on to ESS through Portal( its BSP )

2. WE already have leave request, WHo is who ,employee search, Quota Overview.

3. Client wants a link here like which will take to a page( BSP) which give the option to employee to upload his photos, resumes , certificates etc.

4. Supervisor of this employee or HR managers will be able to see these documents if the employee is reporting to him.

Now is this possible in ESS and how can we do it.

You can create services for those BSP. And publish in the page of ESS

This is very easy.

do you already have those applications for uploading photo etc and you just need to integrate them in portal?

if you need to develop such application take a look at standard webdynpro for abap application
