Will MBW1 Tcode post a revaluation for the onhand inventory

Hello All,

We have changed some of the materials standart cost with MBW1, but it does not post the revaluation for the inventory immediately. the revaluation is posted after the period closing. However, when I change a materials cost with MR21, it automatically post the revaluation for the inventory. So my question is, does it always the case that if we change the cost with MBW1 or ZPRICE_UPDATE, will the inventory be revaluated at the month end?
