Management view not working

Hello everyone,

We have installed a fresh Access Control system (5.3, SP12) for our client and run a first batch risk analysis over the weekend.

Risk analysis is working fine (because I can run offline risk analysis reports without any problems), but the management view fails to report any meaningful data.

Now I have two questions regarding this:

1) It appears that the client's BASIS guys haven't configured the ITS yet, which is why we are getting broken charts. This should be fixed within the week. I was assuming, however, that the reported figures are independent of the charts and should be accurate, even if the ITS is not working yet. Is that assumption true or false? Is ITS required even for "non-graphical" report data? For example, role analysis (management view) outputs 8509 analyzed roles with 0 violations (This is wrong, as the actual role analysis outputs a high number of violations).

2) The job that has run is only considered role analysis on transaction level for one of the connected systems and only with a restricted set of roles (client's "pilot" department)... Can this cause problems with the management view?

Please check SAP note related to latest SP13, if any issue related to management report was fixed.

Also please check data in virsa_cc_genobj table. Do you see all roles, profiles and user in here.

Hi everyone,

We were able to solve the issue by running a full sync job (all users, all roles, all profiles, all analyses, management reports).

So my suggestion 2) was correct. This is unfortunate because initially we wanted to exclude some analysis data from the reports. Maybe this is fixed in SP13, which has yet to be installed by the client's basis service provider.

Hello,

We have also implemented GRC AC 5.3 SP 12. We initially had problems synchronizing the users from the backend but now we have managed to do that. Still the management reports donot show any user risk analysis in the form of graphs and pie charts. It does show for the role analysis. Don't know if this bug though SAP in its list of issues for RAR hasnt mentioned about this bug.
