where do we maintain maintainance status for a materia with respect to palnt and stoarge location?

You cannot maintain maintenance status on your own; but it depends on the views you maintain while creating any material master.

For example, you create a material with

a) Basic Data

b) Sales

c) Accounting

views, then the maintenance status of that material would be KVB which you can see in table MARC. Hope this is what you were asking

Not sure, about your requirement, what do you meant by "maintanance status" wrt: Plant / Storage location?

if you are referring about , Plant specific status to block the procurement, can be done in MMR-MRP1 view wrt:Plant.

similarly, in Sales Org1- you will find Dist-Chain specific status to block the Sales wrt Sales Organization & Dist.Channel.

with this status, you can block the procurement & sales from particular org. unit.
