how to deal with enviroment change?

I want to publish my webi report to product enviroment from test enviroment, but there are lots of drill down report use the URL in test enviroment. How should I minimize my workload? Is there a mechanism, such as global variable, can store the machine name/IP for all report in BOE?

Assuming all reports are on the same server you shoud try not to include the hostname in your URL.

eg. Instead of

http://myhost/OpenDocument/openDoc/openDocument.jsp?iDOcID=xxxxxx

use the following URL

/OpenDocument/openDoc/openDocument.jsp?iDOcID=xxxxxx
