For IP beside BI 7.0 separate Enterprise Portal is a must?

Hello

I am pritty new in this area. I need to establish BI IP functionality. However I have at the time beeing only an BI7.0 system(ABAP+JAVA ).

As JAVA part of BI 7.0 consists also of EP and EP core usage type I would assume that for basic functionality of Integrated planning this system is enaugh.

I did not find an document about this.

Could someone experienced let me know as I have problem in configuring (and so I need to know whether I am at right path at all)

Hello

What you are experiencing is not clear for me, but in general you have to install the BI ABAP + BI java to have planning modeler working. Ensure that BI Diagnostics (note 937697) and also ensure that you have setup your system according notes

919850 and 947376.
