Integration with non unicode ECC 6.0

Hi ,

We have a requirement where client is going for the fresh implementation of CRM 7.0 integrated with ECC 6.0,b ut the ECC system is not unicode.

Need help to know ,how to create compatibility between ECC and proposed CRM 7.0(Which is unicode).
