Maintenance order_Release immediately is not working

Dear Frnds,

Release immediately is not working> Customisation is already done for specific order type. Recently we updated the Service pack ver 11.0. May i know the remedy pls.

Hi,

The functionality of Release Immediately is intended only for those orders created from maintenance calls, from a background notification, or from a sales order. See the F1-Help for the release immediately flag where this is explained.

With customer exit IWO10009 you can trigger an automatic release when saving via the parameter RELEASE_ORDER. See note [488280|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/488280] for full details.
