HI ,

Yes you can manually load the failed data packet , only if the load gets completed.

check the source system job and the load is done , check for the reason for failure of the load. then only you can manually update the failed data packet.

Right click on the failed data packet -->click manual update.

The load completes always at the moment from data source to DSO. The load from DSO to cube has sometimes failures and sometimes not. If I reactivate the failed load to InfoCube again the load is updated well. But this SQL insert problem makes me wondering sometimes why it appears. Maybe the system has a huge work load and sometimes an error appears and it´s nomal business?

yes you are right, this can be because of unavailability of resource.

At the time of your load is running system resource utilization might be high.

HI,

Delete indexes step is there before loading to cube? If there ask your Database/OS team to just have a look into this issue...

hi

if any one of the data package not loaded then request will turned into RED in status. That time you can check in details tab, why its failed and other.

As you mentioned failed to due to SQL error, just try by repeating at failed data package manually to update successfully.

If its still failing then check in ST22/SM21 on this perticular failure, based on dump analyse it.

Can you post the error message.

I think this is an ABAP short dump. Check in ST22.

Usually while loading Cube it will happen.

Its better to delete the Index before loading

and create Index once load done.

Jackie.

It´s an SQL insert into table message.

Do you know the reason why it was failed ? you will have to fix it

When the load is finished , You can right click on data package and update manually
