SMTP configuration

Dear experts,

I have done the SMTP configuration in my SAP system and have already sent successfully various mails.

As sender i have the value of an e-mail maintained in the address tab of the user's data in SU01.

Also have maintained the default domain value through the SCOT transaction, so as to have an alternative "sender" in case the user is not properly maintained in SU01.

My question is:

Can i have as the "sender" the userid who logged in the SAP system followed be the default domain value (which in my case is fake since it is not a valid mail account), and as the recipients valid mail accounts so as to have the ability for the "reply to" to be distrubuted to real mail accounts ?

Actually i would like the users to have in SU01 their valid mail accounts and when a message is sent i would like the "sender" to be "generic user" fake followed by the default domain.

So when the recipient likes to reply he would reply to the real mail account and not to the "fake" one.

Can this be done?

Thank you for you time.

That doesn't make sence.

If you want to send mails with a generic user get your abaper to write the code, the recipient can only reply to the mail address he received the mail from so I presume you'll have to talk to your exchange team regarding mail forwarding
