MRP Planning through planning material with configurable material scenario

Hello dear Sapients,

I have a question concerning a complex scenario we're working in, and it consists of three parts:

First: Planning Material. I'm trying to configure a planning material to plan my material needs according to a Sales Plan (this material is never going to be produced, existing just to plan material needs). It has been suggested that we use the MRP type X0 to do this procedure. Should we use this MRP type for the case?

Second: FERT's and HALB's for our production materials, we should be able to link the planning material to the FERT's and HALB's, so the MRP doesn't create buying needs for actual Sales Orders. How should we configure the MRP views for these FERT's and HALB's?

Third: ROH's. For our ROH's, we wonder if it is possible to consider both a minimum stock size and the needs calculated by MRP. How should we configure the MRP views for these materials in this case?

Are you APO system for planning?

For planning with planning material strategy 63 Planning w.plng material w/o mke-to-ord. and 60 Planning with planning material.

You need to create a planning material and assign this for your finished product MRP 3 view along with consumption parameters.

Forecast for the planning material is consumed by sales for the linked products. Planning material will drive your production planning and FG sales orders will get confirmation against the planning material forecast.
