Patch issue

Hi All,

I am upgrading SAP from 4.7 enterprise 2.00 to ECC6. Its ABAP only system.I have downloaded the upgrade exports and SPS 16 from SMP. I extracted the file and I can see patches for ABAP and non ABAP system.For Abap stack, I could not find any Basis patches after extraction.Also it has list of lots of patches extracted which ones should go good for me .Below is the list of the software component.The landscape just has ERP and solman no other application involved.

Please create message with component XX-SER-SAPSMP-SWC, sap colleagues will help you approve package files the download basket.

Hi,

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately we are not using solman at this moment,as per SAP all the latest patches are only available to download through solman.Is there any other way to download these patches??

You can download SPS16 of ERP6.0 from

http://www.service.sap.com/sp-stacks

->SP Stack Download & Side effect report

->SP Stack SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP ERP 2005)

->select "SAP ERP6.0 - SPS 16" as Target SP Stack

->select "ERP Central Component (ECC)"

->next step

...

You will get SPS16 for ERP6.0 ABAP.

Hi,

It would be much easier to download the patches from the stack area

https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/sp-stacks

You can then filter out the ABAP only stuff.

I downloaded it from the below path Installations and Upgrades - Entry by Application Group"-> SAP Application Components" ->SAP ERP-> SAP ERP 6.0 DB2/AS400ASCII ->

SPC SAP ERP 6.0 Stack 16 -2009/12 1 of 10 to SPC SAP ERP 6.0 Stack 16 -2009/12 10 of 10 .

Hello Ravi,

Could you detail the exact path you took for the SPSP 16, it should contain the basis package components.
