How is system language Z1 (customer reserve entry in T002) used?

Dear experts,

we are delivering our programs in original language German with translations in English, French and Spanish. Now we are in contact with a customer who uses the Z1 language and I wonder what this means to us respectively our software products. Is this language somehow mapped to another "real" language? Does the usage of Z1 require installing an SAP language package? Do we need make sure that our customer performs an appropriate "language fill-up" of Z1 after importing our transports?

Does anyone have experience?

The procedure of using Z1 language key can be found in SAP note 112065.
