Guru's

I have a business requirement where in we have more than 1000 fleet objects. I need to defne a measuring point "Kilometer reading" against which i need to create the measuring documents whenver the fleet comes for maintenance.

My first question is:

1) Do i create measuring point for each vehicle separately or do it in mass using LSMW recording tool?

2) How do I enter the measurment reading for list of vehicles in mass or do it individually. Can i create a LSMW for entering the measuremen reading.

Please update as soon as possible.

Thnks in advance

Murad

Murad,

As Vaibhav told, create the Measurement Reading Entry List in IK31, enter the actual reading in IK34.

As far as Fleet is concerned, you may create the Measuring points for KM & Fuel Consumption. So create different lists for each. Either you create different list based on Fleet Equipment Category & Measuring point type.

Rakesh,

|Measuring point is specifc for a particular piece of object like equipment, fleet etc. No two equipments can hav the same measuring point. Each vehicle will have a different measuring point. How can we enter measurment documents for list of vehicles with diff measuring point in mass upload???

Hi ShaikhMurad,

Here is solution to your problem:

1. You have to create separate measuring point for each fleet object. You have no choice. Because you need a separate measuring reading with reference to individual fleet object.

2. For mass entry of readings use t code IK31 to create the list. In the main screen enter the list of all measyuring points that you want to maintain. Once this list is created. Update the readings on daily basis in t code IK34.

You may use LSMW to update reading.
