Maintaining secured data in SAP

Hi All,

have a requirement related to security in SAP.

by making use of Content server and providing necessary authorizations, data can be considered as secured but is there any other alternative tool provided by SAP where data circulated with external vendors or thru collabartion tools also can be protected?

There is some tool called as NextLabs, can this be considered, if yes then HOW?

Hi Manoj,

SAP is having the best security as far as I know. The acess control is very good thru roles and authorizations, If you are giving the access of your documents to your vendors or external agencies then the limited authorizations can be given like display only. Other data which is not authorized , they can't access, So your data is secured,

If you are sharing data outside SAP then need to control manually means share only required data,

I don't think that using external tool can help much,

Not pretty much conversant with NextLabs,however, there is a tool from Microsoft (co-developed with SAP) for rights management which may interest you given your requirements.This ensures enforcement of compliance via 'Rights Management' framework thus protecting confidential and sensitive information.
