Hello,
My client is having budget concept. every year they are fixing a budget for purchase.
So their requirement in SAP is, there should be a check for budget value at the time of creating PR or PO.
If the purchase is overbudgeted then system should prompt a warning message. __.____._
Any suggestion how can this be done using SAP std features.
Regards
Nandini

Hi!
Is your client using PS Module , If yes then teh budget can be entered year wise for each WBS in PS module and warning messages can be set when a certain limit ( say 90%) of budget is utilized. For materials the reservation block the remaining order plan value and for service orders direclty the commitment value is utlised leaving balance budget if available.
Let me know if any further information reqd.

You can use either Statistical Internal Orders or Funds Management to do the same.
