Budget error while creating delivery from sales order

hi Gurus,

System is throwing error PB603 "Item 004 WBS element ABC-XXX budget exceeded" while creating delivery from sales order.

I am picking material from unrestricted plant stock (not in project stock).

I am also confused as sales order has 3 line items & error shows Item 004 !

I was looking about your error message no. PB603, what i could find from my system is for PB603 the error message is "Object does not exist on move date". I wonder how it shows different for you.

Sorry, typing mistake it is BP603.

It means I must be able to see the material cost as actuals in CJI3 as value type 4 (actual cost)?

Check this note,

Note 159387 - Message BP603: incorrect line item is displayed

Its valid only till 4.6. Might give you some idea but.

I am not totally aware of your complete process, but if you have project for a sales order and the materials are delivered to the customer from the project, even if it is not in project stock but in plant stock, the actual cost will be updated to the project. Because delivery is the goods issue of the material to the corresponding activity.

Delivery of materials will post actual cost to the project, so if the Sales order is integrated with Project, this error may come for insufficient budget.
