hi
We have a DSO with lots of initialisations and deltas from different clients/source systems, lets say numbered 1 to 10.
I want to reload the data for just one source system and my question is: -
1: Can i just delete the data from one client without ruining the delta stamps etc
2: Is there a way of grouping the loads in DSO administration so i can easily find the loads i want to delete. We have hundreds of deltas from differnet sources and i do now want to have to go down the list one by one.
3: I presume i will have to delete the data in the cube as this is loaded from the DSO in one load a day. then reload etc.
kind regards
BW Bill
i'm afraid that when you delete a specific delta request in a dso it will delete all the request that have been loaded afterwards...
you might need to reload the complete data to the dso

Yes, you will have to delete in CUBE 1st and then delete from DSO
Deleting requests from DSO would cause to delete all above requests ... otherwise you can perform selective deletion from the DSO/cube make sure you are deleting only from specific source/data source.
Then you can remove Init request , and Initialize again to DSO and then to Cube
Let me know If I understand you rightly..
Thank you
Ok so i will delete the cube data as this is just a once a day delete and full laod...no problem
So in the DSO would the selective deletion allow me to pick out the loads (delats and initial) i wish to do delete just from from source system 1 for example without ruining the general stamp order of deltas.
So then i can run the initialiation for this source again and i can still keep all the records oin the DSO (delats and initials) from all the other source systems
Cheers
Do you have any keyfield in DSO which differentiates source system ? If so It would be very easy to delete selectively all the entries they belongs to that DS/Source sys from DSO.
I believe you are using 7.x flow , you can delete all requests from PSA and also Init request
Now you can run Init again from Source system ,
