Planning Costs split in Fix and Var - Tcode KP06

Good morning gurus,

i need do book planned costs on cost centers split in fix and variable with the aim of calculating activity prices split in fix and variable.

In my client's model, all the activities linked to a cost center shall have the same value, so i don't need to specify fix and variable costs for each combination of cost center and activity type.

The point is that, in KP06 with layout 1-101 the system forces me to split the cost assigned to each cost element in several rows, according to the frequency of the activities, as in the following example:

Cost Element 101010 - u20AC 1.000.000,00 split in 700.000,00 fix and 300.000,00 var;

Activities Act01 - Act02 - Act03 - Act04 - Act05 - Act06

I would like to book only one row with following details:

- Cost Element 101010

- Fix Cost 700.000,00

- Var Cost 300.000,00

While the system forces me to book:

- Cost Element 101010

- Activity Act01

- Fix Cost 700.000,00/6 (where 6 is the frequency of the activities)

- Var Cost 300.000,00/6 (where 6 is the frequency of the activities)

- Cost Element 101010

- Activity Act02

- Fix Cost 700.000,00/6 (where 6 is the frequency of the activities)

- Var Cost 300.000,00/6 (where 6 is the frequency of the activities)

and so on until the sixth activity.

Is it possible to simplify the procedure?

Variable costs can be specified in KP06 only against a activity type..... Unfortunately, what you want is not possible...

If you do not enter act type on the premise that the cost planned applies to all, system wont allow you to enter variable cost at all.. You will be able to enter Fixed value only

So, for what you want, you will have to split up your plan value and then upload the same

i.e. Cost Ele 10010 - Act Type 1 - Fix 100,000 and Var 50000

Cost Ele 10010 - Act Type 2 - Fix 100,000 and Var 50000

and so on

do you know if i can customize in some way a custom layout, maybe with some formulas, in order to make automatic the ratio of costs among activities?

Hi

Though I never used it, i think there is an option...

you can create a new planning layout where in you can try to build this formula... Later on, this plan layout can be assigned to the planner profile...So, when you enter KP06, instead of using layout 1-101, you can use your own layout

Personally, I wud prefer to do it in excel and then upload.. It should not take much time to do this, if you are an expert in excel
