BO explorer PS 20005

Hi

When I search from the explorer home page, explorer finds the relevant information spaces, but then reports:

it is not possible to read the information space properties (PS 20005).

But this is only when the information spaces are listed in the search results pane.

In the home pane I can expand the information spaces and view the properties.

The information spaces do also work fine for exploration.

Any ideas?

/Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

here's what the Explorer error messaging guide says:

    http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexplXI32/en/exp32_error_messages_en.pdf

"It is not possible to read the Information Space properties. (PS 20005)

    Cause

It is not possible to read the Information Space properties. This could be

because the Information Space has been deleted by another user or because

you do not have sufficient rights to access it.

    Action

Check that the Information Space exists, either in SAP BusinessObjects

Explorer or in SAP BusinessObjects InfoView. If it exists, then check you

have rights to it via the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise CentralManagement

Console (CMC) or by speaking to your administrator.

IT administrators can amend user rights for Objects, Universes, and

    Applications within the CMC."

    Hi,

Already saw this description, but we can access the information space, so it is not deleted.

We can access the information space. It is only the properties that can't be viewed and only when viewing the properties in the search pane.
