Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?

Hi Expert,

We have configured reverse proxy ( Also SSL )

now when we hit https://hostname:port/irj -

.In some of the iview I get below message

Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?

When I click on No , I can see the page but when I say no , I don't.

We are using IE8 . I did mixed content enable setting but it did solve the issue.

Is this browser issue or issue at Portal side?

Best Regards,

Tushar

This can be configured in the IE Security Settings.

If you have a large amount of users, its best to do the following:

    1. Have the end user add your portal to the "Trusted Sites" under IE Menu --> Tools -->Internet Options --> Security --> Trusted Sites

    2. Then have them change the "Display Mixed Content" to enabled under IE Menu --> Tools --> Internet Options --> Security --> Trusted Sites --> Custom Level --> page down abot 4 or 5 pages to "Display Mixed Content".

Having users change this for the Trusted Site zone is not a big security issue. However, if you have them change this the internet zone, then any web site that user goes to could be communicating content unsecured and the user would never know.

You can tell what zone your Portal is in by going to your portal, and looking at the bottom of the screen. If its not added to the trusted sites list, it will say Internet or Intranet.

    Regards,

    Tom

    Hi,

It seems that your Portal is not aware that the reverse proxy is managing the HTTPS protocol.

So when the Portal generates URLs, it uses HTTP and your browser gets pages with mixed HTTP and HTTPS content.

If you use the SAP Web Dispatcher, you should set these parameters :

    wdisp/add_client_protocol_header = true

    wdisp/handle_webdisp_ap_header = 1

    Regards,

    Olivier
