Inactive Transformation after changes in Master data infoobject..

Hello,

I've enhanced infoobject 0MATERIAL to include new attributes. There are existing attributes of Infoobject 0MATERIAL (not new one) used in the transformation of other infoobject Z_MAT_PR and DSO ZDTSO030 with mapping rule type as 'Read Master data' of 0MATERIAL. I noticed that the transformation of Z_MAT_PR and DSO ZDTSO030 is deactivated after the enhancement of 0MATERIAL. Did anyone face this issue as well? Is this SAP bug? Why transformation of other object should get deactivated? Any OSS note will be greatly appreciated.

It's not a bug, It's normal

When you use "READ MD " in transformations , if that MD object is changed for any reason then TRFN will get de-activated.

I think this is not true with the update rule. Update rule doesn't get deactivated with read MD rule type. Is that correct? Why this happens only with the transformation?

I guess thats hold true with update rules too - remember - BY IMPACT status in inactive update rules.
