Forecast in the past

Hi all,

I have a custom SNP Planning Area/Book which are true replica of the standard SAP ones. My issue is that I don't see the forecasts rolled into the past in the custom planning book(initial column), but it is visible in standard planning book and also in product view. I am not sure hoe this can be sorted out. I welcome everyone inputs..

Thanks

Hi Sunitha,

The initializing indicator is greyed out, I don't know how this can be checked. Also in the standard planning area, this is not checked. Pl let me know if I am missing something..

Thanks

Hi Vardev,

I am assuming you are talking about the initial indicator in the planning area.

Try deactivating the planning area and check if you can flag the initial indicator 'on' for the KF.

And it will be greyed out for all the order series KF's and only the time series KF's will give you an option to select the 'initial' indicator even if you deactivate the PA.

This is due to error in copying the std.planning book. I created a new one and resolved the issue. Thanks all.

Hi

Please initialized the planned area and check your time bucket profile.

Thanks

Vardev

Do you see the forecast for the current and future buckets in your custom planning book ? First check if the problem is only with the initial bucket or with the forecast key figure.

The past period forecasts can be deleted using tcode /n/sapapo/md74. Check if that job ran in your system and deleted the past period forecasts.

Thanks
