HANA Calculation View Issue

Hi All

I have a very strange issue while developing a HANA view. I am trying to enhance Vendor Financial data with Vendor Bank information.I am using HANA SP 11.

I created a calculation view where i took "VendorFinancialData" view (already available through HANA live) and added the table LFBK . I directly pulled the table instead of creating an attribute view on LFBK as i have read in the new HANA docs that attribute view is no longer required..

But i am not getting any data from LFBK when i join "VendorFinancialData" with LFBK. I can't even view the LFBK table data using the projection which i have created. However when i directly select LFBK in the projection and do a "Data Preview" i can see the data.

Instead of using the table directly, if i create a attribute view on LFBK and use that in the projection i can then see the data.

This is not just for this calculation view it is happening in any calculation view where i am trying to directly drag a table and join it to another view.

Is it not the right way of doing it ? Do i need to use an attribute view. Appreciate anyone can provide their experience on this.
