CF connectivity service + SAP Cloud Connector, timeout or Error 502

I have an MTA app working on Cloud Foundry on SCP and it is connected to an on-premise app on HANA XSA via connectivity service and SAP Cloud Connector. When I start a massive DB operation (such as import huge file into DB) it is virtually impossible to access HANA XSA app from the cloud - I always receive either timeout or Error 502 - Bad gateway.

At the same time I can access the same HANA XSA app from the local network or via corporate VPN, the delay is a bit longer but not critical. So, the problem is apparently in the connectivity - SAP Cloud Connector chain.

What can be the cause?

    The problem was actually in the SAP Cloud Connector configuration. We increased Application Tunnel Connections limit and problem looks resolved.
