SAP B1 Cerification and S-ID

Hi Experts,

Would like to ask if an independent SAP B1 Consultant, without any connection to any SAP Partner or SAP customer and doesnt have any S-user ID, can still apply and take for the SAP B1 Certfied Application Associate exam?
