Asset Master - Field status change

Dear Sir,

I need your assistance.

In Asset Master, under General Tab, there is posting information - where the field "First Acquisition on" (date) cannot be amended.

In which function should i change the field status to enable me amend this field?

Dear,

Sanjay.

The system automatically sets the asset value date of the first acquisition posting in this field.

When you perform any FIRST acquisition or posting to the asset the system automatically populate date over here in this field.

After a manual change of the capitalization date, this serves to indicate that a posting resulting in capitalization was already carried out on the asset.
