IMEI pool handeling (Predefined SFC numbers to be used at the split SFC)

Hello,

We are in scenario mentioned below:

We are repairing cell phones and inwarding them in ME with their IMEI code as SFC number against RMA shop order.

At one point of time in Operation called as SWAP when the device is not repairable we do swap the device with new IMEI number (Split SFC and assign new IMEI number) We are typing the IMEI number manually at this stage.

I wanted to know is it possible somewhere we maintain these IMEI pool in ME (Predefined numbers list) and at the Swap stage we just select this number against faulty SFC. (We want this solution for fullproffing and avoid manual entries while splitting SFC)

As these IMEI are not defined by us we can't use next number maintenance (We get the list from customer)

We have similar scenario for Mac numbers as well.

Pushkar,

The only place where SFC ID can be taken from for further processing is WIP.SFC table. If you have not put it there, you can't pick it up and assign to Shop Order. How you can load IMEI SFCs there I can think about 2 ways: SFC transfer from another site, and creating trackable SFC. But in either case, if you have new SFC ID in WIP, you will not be able to serialize the old SFC to this ID - you should remove the old one from Shop Order and assign the new one to Shop Order.

Thank you for the suggestion.

We will try with the solution given by you to tranfer the SFC from another site, I think that should work.
