How to Install the SAP Business One Integration Framework

Hello:

I'm trying to set up mobile device (iPhone) connectivity to the SAP Business One mobile app.

So, how do you install the Integration Framework for SAP Business One 9.3 PL06 for HANA? I don't know the first thing about the Integration Framework. Does it have to be installed on the database server, or can it just be installed on the application server (i.e. the Terminal Server)?

I have never used the B1i user, before, but I guess that it has to be used. I see this user mentioned in the integration Framework technical notes. Do I simply give it a password in User Setup? Is doing so going to disrupt anything?

Are users going to need to be out of B1 during the installation? Will the server(s) need to be rebooted?

Hi,

• B1i integration framework is a windows component, thus to be installed at Application server and not at HANA server.
• For installation, it is a straight forward installation , where you need to define (and of course remember) the B1iadmin password.
• For B1i user and password, it is a user in SAP B1 which is to be used by B1if. I suggest to set a password for B1i user and at least login once at the databases you want to use B1if / mobile app. Keep same password for all the databases (optional).
• It is advised to reboot the Application server.

Install the Integration Framework in SAP Server. After installation. Run the event sender setup.After successful installation you will be able to login.

Set the password for B1i User in the user master of SAP B1. This same to be set in the Integration framework for database listed in B1iserver this will be visible after login to integration framework ensure the database connectivity is successful , similar WSforMobile for this ensure the scenario is active.
