Hi Chinu,
Please refer the below steps:
1. Open MDM syndicator with Login Credentials
2. Go to File>New> A pop up window will come here,Select Type = Flat and Remote System = Required Target system and then Press OK.
3. Now click on Destination Items Tab, Here you can add Destination Item(target Fields) as per your requirement.
4. Now go to Item Mapping tab, map your MDM fields with this created Destination Items tab
5. After mapping fields, Go to syndication-->Execute

Hey Mandeep,
Thank you so much for your information. But I could nt find 'Destination properties' tabh in MDM.And how we have to send it to a flat file and where it gets stored also not mentioned. Please throw some light on that side as 'Destination Properties' tab also. Please guide me.Thanks in advance.
Hi Chinnu,
After connecting to syndicator, you should be able to see the Destination properties tab (3rd tab .. after Item mapping , map properties..)
The path for the outbound ready folder is as below at the server level:
root/DBMSinstance_DBMStype/RepositoryName/Outbound/ RemoteSystem/PortName/Ready
If you want the file on your local desktop:
1. Connect to Syndicator
2. Destination Items -> Right click -> Add Destination Item -> Exmple: material Number, Material Desc
3. Item Mapping : Map the fields
4. Save the map
5. Click Syndicate icon
If you want the file in a outbound Ready folder, from where PI will pick up the file: (Automatic syndication to port)
1. Connect to Syndicator
2. Destination Items -> Right click -> Add Destination Item -> Exmple: material Number, Material Desc
3. Item Mapping : Map the fields
4. Save the map
5. In console : Create a Remote system (Outbound)
6. Create Port -> Select Format as delimited Text , Delimiter \t , assign map
7. keep Processing: Continous
8. Test: Create new record
9. Check in the outbound ready folder : the file should be there
10. Configure PI to pick the files and send it to ECC
If you want the file in a outbound Ready folder, from where PI will pick up the file: (Manual syndication to port)
1. Connect to Syndicator
2. Destination Items -> Right click -> Add Destination Item -> Exmple: material Number, Material Desc
3. Item Mapping : Map the fields
4. Save the map
5. In console : Create a Remote system (Outbound)
6. Create Port -> Select Format as delimited Text , Delimiter \t , assign map
7. keep Processing: Continous
8. Connect to syndicator
9. File -> New
10. Type -> Port , Select the RS and port you created in the above steps
11. The map you created would have opend not
12. Syndicate
Thankyou so much for your guidance. The 3rd tab is destination items. But i mean the tab for destination properties in File menu is not being shown for me so that automatically it will get the destination fields rather than manually typing all the fields in destination tab. This answer was really very helpful for me.
Hi Priti,
Thanks s lot for your response. But in this following link i followed all the steps but in page 9 ,there is destination properties tab mentioned which im not getting to get that xml schema in mdm.
Please guide me.
Hi Chinu,
You should understand here one thing like whether you are going to use PI or not. If you are using PI then give them the fields you are going to use then they can create an xsd schema for you. Once when you have the xsd you can upload in MDM console and can use this xsd directly. Else you have to create flat file and here you have to create all the fields manually in MDM syndicator. Once when you have the target fields in syndication map it directly. Some help you can get here also, it is for mdm 5.5 but the steps are same in 7.1 also:
Also please follow other suggestions in this thread for automatic syndication in production. Also if you have MDM PI adapter in PI then you can directly send from MDM to PI.

Hi Chinu,
To syndicate date to Flat file:
1. Connect to Syndicator
2. Destination Items -> Right click -> Add Destination Item -> Exmple: material Number, Material Desc
3. Item Mapping : Map the fields
4. Save the map
5. In console : Create a Remote system (Outbound)
6. Create Port -> Select Format as delimited Text , Delimiter \t , assign map
7. keep Processing: Continous
8. Test: Create new record
9. Check in the outbound ready folder : the file should be there
10. Configure PI to pick the files and send it to ECC
For XML format:
Define a xsd which will define the structure of your destination side.
You need to define the xsd in Console in the table XML Schemas
Connect to syndicator
File -> New
Select the XSD you declared here
Next -.> Map the fields and save the map
Then, syndicate.
Create Remote system, port . Assign map tp the port.
You can have the scenario: MDM -> PI-> ECC
Refer this link for step by step procedure: /people/harrison.holland5/blog/2006/11/27/mdm-syndication
