Report to list the changes made to the employee master data

Hi,

I need to develop a report which lists all the transactions where there is a change in rates or wages. For a selected time period it should show only the records for which the rates or wages have changed in that selected time period.

Any kind of inputs are helpful.

Thanks,

dhari

    HI Dhari

    Welcome to SDN

you can use the standard BI content cube 0PACM_C01, you can activate standard data flow from BI content

for this requirement , 0HR_PA_CM_2 is the relevant datasourec

    Hope this helps,

    Sathya

    hi Dhari,

good question, what about past data.

you have told that you are working on 0employee and i think MD doesn't keep history info. when you load the data everyday its over write the records present based on key field.

so the functionality will work like from the day its go live.

if you can get hold of the employee MD records for say last 2/3 years then while loading you can make a check on all the records available for the same emplyoee then store them all in one Internal table and then sort it according to date, then find the different and if there is a change then move it to another table or cube and load it from there. which is a indeed not that easy. It will need a lot of ABAP coding to get it work.

    i hope this clarifies.

again the challenge is to get the history of MD data records. You can achieve this by using any R3 history table of emplyoee but you have to build a custom DS for the same and use the info as transaction data and not as MD. pull the info to a DSO or Cube and use it from there. as explained above using IT.

i hope you are getting my point.

please let me know if you need any more information.

      Hi,

Thanks for your quick response. But my problem is whatever I do I have to do at the query level itself.

Can you guide me how to use or include the key date in my query.I am trying to make it work that way.

      Thanks,

      Dhari

    Hi Dhari,

i don't think you can achieve this at query level. you have to do back end work for the same.

    hope this helps.
