Hi Gurus,

I have one question if we need to design a cube base on any data source ( Like Logisitics Datasource) . Is there any specific criteria for characteristics to put into the dimensions we need to follow. All kind of help will be appreciated

Always Insert the characteristics which has 1:n relation ship into one particular Dimension irrespective of the datasource

Normally what we do is we activate the standard business content InfoCube (e.g 0IC_C03) then use it as a guide to create our own customize Cube (dimension etc.)

Thanks for your reply but do we need to check cardinality , fact table and dimension table ratio in it

Yes, you have to consider that as well for Line Item Dimensions...
