Measurement type in RE FX

Hi Experts,

i have searched few threads in SCN but failed to get the required knowledge so thought of posting a thread.

i created a building with 1000 M2 and i started creating rental units from building, which are working fine but i created rental Units with more than 1000 M2 . system did not stop me to create rental units the moment i create rental units with more than 1000 M2.

Logically system should not allow me to create rental units with more than 1000 M2 because the building having measurement of 1000 M2

Hi Shibu,

Normally tracking happen between Poolsed Space and Rental Space only. In your if tracking is necessary then you can create a pooled space for each building and start extracting from them as rental space.

In REFX there is no check between the building measurements and the rental unit measurements.

The only place where this validation takes place is when you're using Pooled Spaces and Rental Spaces.
