Daily production report < CREATIVE WORKAROUND>

Hi All,

Client is creating a daily production report manually and we are trying to automate or at least build it from SAP. Requirement is having daily production with PIR/Sales plan etc etc w.r.t STORAGE LOCATION (manufacturing units are defined as Sloc). In SAP daily production is not entered, production is booked maybe weekly or at end of a campaign. production operator share an excel with net production of that unit.

We are trying to find any work around to achieve this goal, and if you are or have used any such report then please let me know.

1. Create custom table for user to directly upload in SAP (kind of making an excel form in SAP)

2. Using MD61, variant with daily requirement and entering daily production there and creating a compiled report in the end.

Looking for more ideas..workarounds...

Hello,

Thank you for your comments but the point is I am trying to make a work around, we need to have a daily production report but we do not book or do GR every day ( we may do GR once in 10 days although production happens every day).

For now, every manufacturing unit sends production data in excel which is then complied together.

I am now looking at PI sheets, but It will also work on Process order level, if I am right?

Hello

Did you already try transaction MD48? It gives you an overview of requirements and receipts for a given material.

Hi Akash,

Based on your requirement first find the objects (PIR, customer order, if any) which you want to automate the report. The important thing is to provide complete information to the technical team to build the report. It is difficult to provide complete inputs at a basic level.

1. Read the MD63 forecast

2. Identify the requirements (stock, sales orders, dependent demand, if any) to be added to the logic to define the net demand.

3. Build the custom program help of the technical team and schedule a background job to upload the SAP report in to share the path directory.

Best Regards,
