Hello
I have a scenario as below:
User1 - Responsible for the systema
User2 - Responsible for the systemb
So, in CHARM, while approving the User1 can only approve for Systema and not systemb. (Logical Component Groups)
How this can be achieved need some inputs..
I have checked the SM_SDOCADM object, here only we can restrict the logical component admin activities like, create, edit, display etc..
Thanks
Harish
Hello Harish Prakash
There are various ways of achieving it...did you already checked below with approval procedures.
object - CRM_APPRVL
https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMAUTH/UC00043
https://blogs.sap.com/2013/10/31/new-charm-feature-with-sp-10-enhanced-approval-procedure-functions/
There is also a badi for enhancing this check AIC_OVERWRITE_APP_PROC_ENHANCE
OR other option could be use -----auth object SM_CM_FUNC,
it depends upon your requirement and setup which one is more relevant but it can achieved easily.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Prakhar

Hello Prakhar Saxena
We are doing upgrade from 7.1 to 7.2 and already there is approval procedures and auth keys etc is defined in B_USERSTAT and CRM_APPRVL.
But there is no restriction for Logical Components Group, as I mentioned earlier.
Also checked the object SM_CM_FUNC, but no restriction is happening.
Anyother object is there for the same.
Thanks
Harish
