Activating Scriptserver service on HANA 1.0 SPS12 - Scale-Out system.

Hello,

We are deploying scriptserver on our Scale-Out HANA 1.0 SPS12 systems (4 nodes).
Before deploying I would like to know,

Where should be the scriptserver started? On which node (master only) or all?
Is it ok to deploy only on the master node where master indexserver resides?

I did search for KBA and Notes but none of it mentioned about the scale out for HANA 1.0 SPS12.

Hello All,

Once again asking the above question, scenario based.

What are the steps to be followed to enable new service for example dpserver or scriptserver in HANA replication scenario? Any special steps required to avoid replication errors?

Scenario : SiteA and SiteB with SYNCMEM logreplay active.

Please help.

All we need to do is just restart the secondary SITE B

Steps :

1) Enable service on primary Site (with command line if scale out senario).

These will create and start service on primary but in replication status you will notice the enabled service in UNKNOWN state.

Also on secondary you will see entries in deamon.ini file

2) Now restart secondary Site B.

Volume on secondary is automatically created after restart.

These is no where provided in KBAs or Documentation I referred.
