GRC Connector Configuration

Hello

I have to change one of the System field under the Change connector tab ( connector configuration ) as it is showing a wrong name, because of wrong configuration earlier.

The first two fields. 1. SYSTEM* and the 2. SYSTEM NAME*

The second one I can change as it is modifiable, but the first one is not modifiable, even though it does not bring in any technical value I need to change to keep the naming of systems in Sync.

One way of doing it (just to change a name) is by deleting the system and creating a new connector then uploading all the rule sets, which is a long process I feel.

Can any one suggest me if there is any other way to change the system name not disturbing the configuration information.

leave this connector as-is and create new one.

if this system is not refered anywhere in other GRC table, only then u can delete

Hi Vidya,

Sorry to say but that is the only process. It may not seem to be an important field but using the System/Connector ID, RAR or CUP relates all the data in the database.
