MDM Syndication Server (MDSS) Package

Hello MDM-experts!

I am going to install MDM with MDM-Server MDM Import Server and MDM Syndication Server on the single host.

I allready downloaded "MDM Installation Manager 7.1".

When I try to install MDM as Central system the following components will be required:

MDM Server (MDS) Package

MDM Import Server (MDIS) Package

MDM Shared Server Content Package

MDM Syndication Server (MDSS) Package

It is possoble to download the first 3 componets from SAP Service Marketplace.

Unfortunately I cannot find the fourth component MDM Syndication Server (MDSS) Package

Question:

Where can I find the the component "MDM Syndication Server (MDSS) Package" on SAP Service Marketplace?

(the DVD-Label: SAP:MDM:710:MDM-MDSS:*:WINDOWS_X86_64:)

Any helpful information will be very appreciated!

Hi,

Follow this path to download the MDM 7.1 syndication Server from SMP

Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group --> SAP NetWeaver and complementary products
--> SAP MDM--> SAP NETWEAVER MDM 7.1-->
 Entry by Component" Syndication Server

Revert if any issue

Entry by Component" Syndication Server

I only can access to:

Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group --> SAP Application Components --> SAP SRM --> SAP SRM 7.0 / NW7.01

There I can't find Syndication Server entry, but the other etnries:

MDM ABAP API

MDM JAVA API

MDM Import Server

MDM Server

MDM technical configuration

MDM Content handling

MDM Import UI

MDM Administration Clients

MDM Change Tracker

Any ideas how to proceed?

Hi,

This may be because of MDM licensing/authorization issue.

Please contact SAP in this regards. They will be the best point to answer this question..

Where on SAP service marketplace can I find the SAP SRM Server 7.0 Add-On for EHP4 ERP system?

This Add-On will be installed via tcode SAINT on EHP4 ERP system.
