Bex Chart Legend With Garbled Text

We have a Bex report, when you click "Display As: Chart" a chart appears, however the chart legend has strange characters in it.

The problem is that the legend has carriage returns and each carriage return is displaying garbled text instead. I upgraded to the latest IGS patch and also installed / configured the true type fonts per SAP note 1341634.

Not sure what to do here. I think it has something to do with the font configuration...

I figured it out. The Federated Portal was using the BI system's IGS and note 1028690 had to be applied there.

This cleared up the issue with carriage return / line feeds showing up as strange text.
