Problem with Totals Of the Key Figure in the Report

Dear All,

I have an issue with the Report.

We have a Closing Stock Volume which has aggreation as SUM & Exception aggregation as Last Value. Agg Ref Characteristic is 0cal Day.

I am executing the Report giving company code, material & the Cal Week as 22.2010.

When i see the values with out distributor drill down there is a total of xxxx.

When i drill down according to the Distributor there are number of values of Closing Stock Volume & the total to the total XXXX inthe Result of the Report.

But when i manually add all the closing stock volume values of the distrubutors it is not equal to the Total XXXX.

Kindly suggest.

hi Janardhan,

the key figure is set to last value this means it will take the last value of the 0calday and will display the SUM.

when u try to drill down the Distributor then it will try to show the value across each but it does not mean that all those values will be considered for calculation the SUM. Only the last posted value for that 0calday will be considered. thats why the SUM XXXX is comming different that what you add up manually. XXXX is calculated as per last value.

if you sitll want to clarify take one particular compnay code, material and week and distributor and put the filter in cube and try to see the result only considering the last posted valued of the day for that key figure and you will definitely reach XXXX.

Hi,

If the exception aggregation is last value, then it picks the last value for 0CALDAY in Descending order for the given combination (company code, material & the Cal Week ).
