scheduling

Hi Experts,

1.While scheduling through IP10 we have 3 options.Start in cycle, restart and manual call. Will any one tell difference in these option and in which case which option to be used.

2. If we select start in cycle option we have to choose package and then reset offset. What is significance of selecting reset offset.

3. When we schedule through IP30 then out of option Start in cycle, restart and manual call in IP10 which option gets selected and on which basis.

Thanks & Regards

    Hello,

Start at current date and start in cycle at last known maintenance package u2013 start in cycle utilises an offset of number of days in starting the plan in cycle of maintenance package. When the maintenance plan is scheduled the option to restart is made available.

Above thing is also behave same way in IP30 also.

    Regards,

    Rakesh
