Gross Profit -per Item managed by Serial no.

Hi Experts,

Few of our Items are manged by Serial numbers (Ex. Machine1), is it possible in SAP B1 to check the profit of sales per. Item Serial no.(Machine 1..), when the Gross profit is based on Item cost and Item valuation by FIFO.

Can anybody help me in a query to identify the profit by Items managed by Serial No. or let me know which table am i missing out here... I have tried OITM, INV1, OINV

Hi Rakesh,

you're looking for actual item cost, a feature not available in any current version of Business One. If you have only a few of such items, you could try & keep track manually, but as soon as you have a few such transactions a day, this is not feasible anymore.

There are partner add-ons that cater for this requirement, though.
